This Girls give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Poor Representation
The picture is not what you receive. They add layers under the dress and the flowers are not defined like the flowers in the picture. The wings are made of a flimsy felt and the curves at the top of the wings do not flare out, but inward. I spoke with the Representative at the company and she said that there is a skirt you can purchase that makes the dress look poofy. She mentioned that is why the dress looks different in the picture. I feel that is a dishonest approach to selling a product.

2. Pretty fairy costume but scratchy...
The child I bought this for just turned five and though she is tall for her age she fits into this costume and she is on the skinny side. It is not tight fitting so she will definately be able to wear it for at least another year or more. But, I was thinking that for a size 7-8 it would be bigger. It seems that most costumes run a little small so I was not terribly surprised. Another possible negative is that once on the wearer said that the material was scratchy. She was not wearing anything under the costume at the time so a light tank top may alleviate this issue. I really like the design of the wings because they are a flexible material that velcro on thus enabling them to be removed. The "flowers" are also attached with velcro so they can be removed to clean the costume as well. Since there is a bit of a white color on the costume we will probably later a short sleeve white shirt under it for Halloween along with some white tights to wear with ballet slippers.
